(In the Appreciation as "Barn opposite Abbotsbury Mill")
The sorry-looking barn has more of a history than one might guess, as it appears on maps as far back as the 18th century in connection with Abbotsbury Mill on the opposite side of Grove Lane.
It was converted into a holiday cottage in 2002, has been attractively landscaped since, and its location greatly brightened by the felling of the trees behind it.
