Chapel Yard Pottery
(In the Appreciation as "Outbuildings north of Chapel Farm Barn")

(Unlisted)

These outbuildings, once the milking parlour for Chapel Farm (the small shed in the middle of the 1973 photograph was the pasteurising room) was first turned into a pottery by Roger Ross Turner in the early 1980s. The business passed to Ray Lane, a potter from New Zealand, before it became Chapel Yard Pottery in 1990, where Richard Wilson produces earthenware and stoneware, decorated in traditional slipware style. After years of running a gallery from 15 Rodden Row, Richard has plans to develop this site to provide for a house, along with a pottery and gallery.
